Venetian Wedding Cake Beads, Set African Trade 28" strand of ebony woodThis short strand of 8 wedding cake beads are beautifully decorative and detailed. They are a deep royal blue glass with aventurine, pink, blue and white raised flower embellishments. 4 large beads are 22mm diameter, 4 small beads are 12mm diameter. Beads are in good condition with signs of wear, some aventurine squiggles have chipped off. These date to late 1800's early 1900's. The large beads are highly unusual and rare!
