my guess is at some stage a studio has upgraded all the relays and brought each channel up to spec

its glassed up so would need new rubber but of course most companies that do this service require the old unit to work on

so its easier to buy a new loom than ponce about soldering a load of connectors

they are normally very corroded and dusty

I have checked and the E16 is the same
