The pattern for the laser cutting is inspired by Tunisian iconic Swallow wings ceramic tiles. These geometric tiles, bicolor on the diagonal are representative of Tunisian architectural heritage of the 19th century. In Japan, Kirigami is the art of cutting and folding.
