The skirt has a lovely slimline fit with a little swish for slinky movement

This wonderful skirt suit was made from a super light weight crepe in the late 1930s or very early 1940s

The tops of the shoulders have been gathered to add shape and the three quarter length sleeves are flattering and versatile

There is also an area of staining to the back of the skirt which is covered by the jacket when worn and some staining at the inside of the collar
