It was cut in the classic fit and flare silhouette of the period with gently padded shoulders, a nipped waist and a flared skirt. The small notched collar leads to a single row of five faceted buttons that fasten the coat at the front and matching buttons decorate the sleeve cuffs. Functional slit pockets are cleverly disguised in the beautiful seam work at the waist and an ingenious
