It was sold in department stores like Macys and Marshall Fields. The designs were considered revolutionary at the time: she focused on ease of movement, natural fabrics, pockets (!), and aerodynamic silhouettes, often inspired by her own flying gear. She even modeled the clothes herself, and sewed many of the prototypes!
